I watched the fnaf movie with friends the day it came out in my country, and the best part was definetely the watching experience in the cinema. Many people dressed up for the occassion, my friends included, and some kids brought in airhorns and started going crazy with em once the credits song started playing.

needless to say, i loved watching it! It isnt that impressive of a film narrative wise- i felt the plot was too forced (vanessas whole inclusion was a giant plot device and you cant convince me they changed the lore for any reason other than narrative convenience. "its the books canon lore" my ass) and the bit with the drawing at the end was extremely corny to me- like again its something thats hinted at throughout the movie but it doesnt stop it from feeling forced in my eyes. same with like. the circumstances surrounding that climax (being vague in case anyone reading this hasnt seen it)

I kinda expected more scares- balloon boy was the scariest thing throughout the movie for me but i cant be mad about that i think the balloon boy gag is probably the most brilliant bit in the whole film. Also bite of 87 refrence holy shit!! and the song at the credit was insane. Even if as just a film it isnt that great, what it means for the fans watching makes up for it. I was in the cinema right before it started like "damn. this IS the fnaf movie im about to watch. crazy". It has its flaws, of course, but i feel the conceot of fnaf is kinda hard to adapt into a film as it is. they did their job, they delivered and boy. its insane that its a real thing that exists now. wow. ngl Im happy with that lmao.

Sorry this is kinda rambly. its hard to be concise about such a thing as the fucjing fnaf film. like the fact that it was even able to exist is insane. what multiverse are we on where the hottest blockbuster of the moment is the fucking five nights at freddies movie
