As an artist on the social medias, i found myself limiting my creativity for the sake of what i felt my followers expected. I soon grew tired of making art to please, and of cherry picking what and what not to post, so I cleared all my followers, rebranded, and made the gram my personal dump, to really just post whatever i had just made. This was the first small step. This was the birth of goofysillygoober as my alias, fun fact.
Some time in July 2022, another development happened. I learned about neocities, and immediatly was in love with the variety, freedom and whimsy many sites had. I wanted in on it!! So I made an account and proceeded to not touch it at all until nearly a year after.
During this off-time, as I was still posting on my regular accounts i realised- Damn. This really is stale huh. Compared to the absolute personality of the sites I had seen, everything felt souless. I started reading up on the web-revival, and found myself agreeing with every manifesto i came across. The web had so much personality, where did it all go? Why make art when its just gonna become content? I wanted more than that. So I joined in :P
As of typing this, its December 2023. Its been half a year since i first began work on this page, and if you find yourself in the same position i was in at the beginning of this journey, I would sososo recommend you make a site of your own. In the meantime, I hope you stick around to enjoy the ride with me :D
THE NOWHERE ZONE
This page was first created some time in August 2022, though i only got around to really putting effort into it one june 2023. Since then, it has gone through three entirely different layouts and some early tests i did not archive. You can browse the previous layouts bellow.
This page was built on chrome in a 1360x768 display, and as such, is best optimized for these conditions. If it bugs you, you can always jut. zoom in til it looks right
Its called The Nowhere Zone because of this one character you may have seen floating around several pages

Nowhere was my sona in 2021, and i recently dragged him out of the archives to be the mascot for the site! this is a pretty recent change- originally he wasnt present at all other than in the name... but it was only fair he got more attention
This page aims to me my ultimate web-corner, where i can post and share basically every thing i do :] Some content to expect is various forms of art, blogs and reviews, photography, kandi, tons of e-shrines, some fanlistings... etc. While progress on new pages may be slow, i do try to upload my latest creations frequently

9/1/24 - I was featured in feriferi's site of the month! So, what has changed? Not much. Ive been mainly slowly working at what i had already started and joining pixel cliques lmao. Ive also begun working on Nowhere 3.0s first original shrine, on the Automaton Theatre. Ill likely work on an actual shrine menu after im done with it... may also rescue some shrines from 1.0.... Not much has been done atm but schools at it again and im kinda behind schedule on. everything. That being said hopefuly the Kandi page will actually be added to the art menu soon!
28/12/23 - Sorry about the radio silence immediatly after starting this thing- family celebrations + a new obsession with chickensmoothie.com have taken away any motivation to actually redact any changes Ive been making on the site. Ive been working on a lot of stuff at the same time- so let me see if i can synthesize it all.
1.) Ive added a cliques section to web.html and moved the fanlistings version to webmaster.html. For a while there was a Honeycomb section in webmaster.html but Ive moved all those honeycomb stamps to the brand new graphics.html! Ill likely restyle it a bit in the future bc rn its basically a copy paste of the 2.0 version. This prompted me to begin working on a menu for my digital collections! Ive also added a Toybox for online adopts ive gathered- which is what prompted me to fall into the CS rabbithole. At first the Toybox was accessible through a funstuff menu I began work on (which ill likely restyle a bit too), but i figured it was best suited for my collections page. So yeah. Ive been hunting for adopts, joining cliques, reorganizing my bookmarks (lord they needed it), and overall Ive been workin'. And setting alarms daily for whenever the CS pound opens up ohooo ahhhh
24/12/23 - Merry Christmas Eve everybody! and welcome to the first ever entry in this newsletter! I often dont post every change i make to the site in the "upates" section of the homepage, since many are small and irrelevant, so i figured i would make a newsletter to give actual updates on development. As of today, Ive somewhat fixed the buttons in
mspaint.html, added sfx to the buttons in
kidpix.html as I had been meaning to and also added some javascript to
traditional.html that allows doodle pages to show their flip side when hovered and to be seen in fullscreen when clicked. Also while in fullscreen, theres a button that ,when hovered, flips them too! I suck at explaining, heres a short demonstration.
No screenshots available. overall runs better than its predecesor, although it is simpler. some pages may lead to a dead end.
